First catch of the year - whats yours?

I had today off and was hoping I could put the first fish of 2023 on the board. Had a bunch of errands to run and family to see, but I managed to get down to my local hole with 30 mins of daylight to spare. Got to the spot to find it more crowded than I'd ever seen it, with most of the holes occupied. I went down to the last one to find it empty, but then noticed all the people followed me down closer to that one, so I circled back around to the top hole. Made a few casts and landed my first fish of 2023, a holdover stocked rainbow Just goes to show how much you can get done with the time you have, even if it's just a little bit!
