Default Sandy Hook Surf Report 7/17/22 Fluke, Robin party, striper, and rays.

Went surf fishing with a buddy last Sunday at Sandy Hook.
Countless sea robins gave way to a few short fluke and a keeper.
Saw a few stripers hunting sand fleas on the beach lip and my friend managed to catch one of them.
Also caught two cownose rays, biggest of which almost spooled us on the light fluke setup. Estimated 40+lbs.
Fish were eating live killies, sand fleas and gulp grubs.

Phenomenal trip
