After a busy weekend with sea bass and a wedding, I hit a lake after work to see if I could wrangle up some bass. I didn't have much time, and after striking out in an hour of fishing I started to head home, but passed an old favorite creek and figured I'd stop off for 5 more casts.
Cast 1 resulted in a bluegill.
After spooking the fish in the back of the pool, I moved to the front and took a cast. Cast 2 resulted in my first ever Tiger Trout! A gorgeous little fish, and based on the size and lack of private clubs on this creek, I'd say it was wild.
Cast 4 resulted in a brown I didn't get a photo of. All 3 of them swam off strong and fast in the cool water. It really made up for the tough fishing at the lake. Tight lines!
