Surf report 11/30/21:
You know the 2 best days to go fishing, that's right, yesterday and tomorrow. Yesterday as I was getting dressed work and I was watching the Seaside surf cam, watching guys with bent rods fighting fish !
Today I go down there on my day off, it's like a dead ocean. What I could see was a massive cloud of birds way out there. It actually looked like a cloud, looked like thousands of birds, moving North ever so slowly.
Today it was low tide and I was able to walk out onto the bar in the gin clear water, I could see a few party boats to my right way down near IBSP. A smattering of people fishing hear and there, no birds, no bass, no nothing.
Seems like the blitz's that have taken place were on nutz, too bad not sand eels that seem to concentrate in massive schools and move much slower.
Water temp. today around 54* which is perfect, and with the low sun angle and overcast sky no problem fishing during the day. Threw my trusty SP Minnow for a while but never caught anything nor saw anything. I'm sure it will be a blitz tomorrow when I'm at work. Off Thurs and supposed to be 50*, may have to come up and try to catch some trout. Crimmus music on the radio and snow flakes in the sky. So peaceful down the shore this time of year, lovin' it !
