Monksville Recount... Walleyes still winning!

Had a few friends at the back yard fire Wednesday night and my buddy’s girlfriend said she wanted to go fishing. I told her to set her expectations low because we are going to Monks. After we launched I realized I left my terminal tackle box at home and ran into a couple buddies on the lake that hooked me up with some snaps then it was off to find some hungry fish. We set up in 40ish fow and I gave her a quick lesson how to work a jigging rap. She gets to work as I start rigging another rod and she hooks up! I couldn’t believe it. Boom! A nice 20ish in the net for her first ever walleye. High fives, pictures, we get back to work. Ended the night with 8 eyes to 23”. Dana ended up with 2 on raps and lost a few. All my fish were casting stuff.
