Default C0mmmercial black sea bass increase

The Commission initiated the Draft Addendum in October 2019 to consider adjusting the commercial black sea bass allocations based on current distribution and abundance of the stock. Remember last year they got a 59% increase and NOTHING FOR THE RECREATIONAL FISHERMAN.

Where and what are the various fishing groups that represent us doing? Why aren't our appointed council members doing anything? Have they turned into
"yes" men so that they can continue to collect their stipend? I have nothing against the commercials, but I don't hear about any protests or push for an increase for us either.

At one of the past scoping hearing, one of the NMFS staff told me off the record that they know the recreational survey is flawed, but "that's what we were told to use" So we sit here taking the scraps, always taken away but nothing given. From my perspective it's a damn shame that various representatives are doing next to nothing for us.
