I’ve been foaming at the mouth for about 6 weeks, that’s how long the “D” has been flooded for! Every time it would start to go down it would rain again and the rain just wouldn’t stop. I knew what was currently swimming in the river thanks to my local connections down by the river. Last trip out I hooked something I could barley move. Last night was the night! I had this funny feeling in my gut all day. I even headed to the river super early to check out the boat traffic. It wasn’t too bad thankfully. After that I went and made bait,,,,,, here’s what followed!!!

When you swim in water over your head with all your gear in one hand, you get rewarded for your efforts!!! Epic battle! This fish was ripping line off the 4000 sized Stradic like it was absolutely nothing! Holy shit!!!! Anyone wana hold this for me??? YEA BUDDY!!!! I am AMPED!!!!!!!!! New PB!!! 37.5 lbs.........
