Got out this weekend, loaded up the big boat and gave the black mamba a rest. Headed out on the Kathy k tuna outbound.original plan was to double overnight Hudson but the fishing sucked the water was too warm, and the weather kicked up and got pretty nasty really quick. Pulled the plug headed home and got the gear ready and hooked up the mamba for a change of pace for the monthly rvta tourney. Fished solo on the mamba and landed two big Goldy Lock's for the win in the trout division. Early morning was really good for the rainbows for a while I couldn't get more then five rods set up. Boated somewhere between 15-20 trout then switched over and slowed it down for those Lakers. Lakers wise I did horrible landing one! Shoulda just focused on the bows since they were biting so good but aghhhhh owell...all action came on lead core rods and downriggers 20-40 feet. Time to switch the gear back over and set up for this spruce tourney this weekend,
