Default Keyport Seahawk - Babe Ruthed a boat limit

Tough morning again like last trip, but we picked up shorts and a keeper along with some really nice sea bass to keep us occupied.... It was after noon and we had only one keeper fluke, but we hoped it would be like last trip and pick up so we stayed out late again.

sure enough the drift changed and we started picking away at nice keeper fluke, all but 1 or 2 between 20-24". between the nice fluke we were releasing some big seabass (already at our limit) but we ran out of time

one fluke short of our boat limit and John turns on the engine and says to Arty, "we really have to go, that's it, bring it up"... so of course i have to bust his balls as i was out of the water at that point re-rigging I say "man i was trying to let you catch the last keeper but if you're going to quit i'll just do it right here" I flip the bucktail rig over and with two twitches i hook into a nice heavy fish! hahaha I had to convince them to get the net that i wasn't just messing with them. And that's how you Baby Ruth a boat limit

Color didn't seem to matter on the jig, pink, green, and yellow all worked and the rattlin shrimp as a teaser worked pretty well too. and hey i think we only lost like five 6-8oz bucktails
