Caught my biggest fish for 2018 yesterday evening in Carnegie Lake, a 34" 17.5 lb female spawned out common carp that hit my homemade corn meal bait on a #8 red treble hook and 12 lb test line. Also landed an 8.5 lb carp on my last cast for the day. That's 40 carp that I caught this year. They fight hard for a very long time.
