Default Monger "Sporty" Fluking 7/25

Had Jerry booked for fluking yesterday and after a lot of back on forth on the weather we decided to give it a go in NE 15. As much as Jerry has a fishing passion like no other safety always comes first for his crew and clients. He gave me many options to go or not. After he physically checked the ocean beachside we said lets try it and glad we did.

Crew was myself, Glenn Finreaper, Mike, Brian, Chris, Anthony, Rich, Alex MVP and of course Joey da Fish (he wont admit it but I think he now lives in the Monger cabin!!)

Great group who never left the rails in a washing machine with rain, then sun then rain etc. Drift was fast 1.2 knots and it took 10 ounces most of the day to get bites but they came on every drift. Had we not been moving so fast over them we would have put a real hurting on them as they were there at every spot.

Ended up with 22 Keepers up to 5lbs ish, loads of shorts, a few seabass up to Mikes 3lbr with a huge knuckle head, ling, squirrel hake and robins. Joey and Rich went limit plus / ORL and everyone else had a couple of all NMR.

Been said many times before but worth saying again Capt Jerry and Crew with gave us another great day of service and CATCHING. One of the best operations on the water for sure. Thanks Jerry and see for the next trip soon, thanks Trevor for all the hard work as usual.
