30lb and under I stick with Sufix 832. 40lb+ I go with Power Pro Slick 8.
For the fishing you're gonna be doing, setup your "wreck fishing" setup with 40lb braid of choice and you'll be fine. For ling and seabass you don't need too much of a top shot (I don't use one). But for tog I use 15-20ft.
