Default Re: Boat Bottom Painting

Have bottom sand blasted , makes prep 1000 % easier ! Then it's really clean & U can spot any issues easily ! Today Imthink they use peanut shells ? Not sure
Once it's really cleaned & fixed simply roll on barrier coat , I believe several coats have to be put on in specific temp range .
When I did mine about 10 years ago next three years only had to touch up bottom paint really saved a lot of work on a 33' ft boat .
Procedure may or may not be exactly same today , however getting hull prepped properly makes all else easier .
