Late night big girl

Met up wit Mikey for a late night 11-3am trip friday. Action in the usual spots was slow to say the least, with some Bass and Rock Bass willingly hitting plugs while the targeted species were not cooperating. After mindlessly tossing jerkbaits for a few hours, I decided to throw on a 4" Relax shad that I had never had much luck with. Couple casts in I get wacked by this big girl. Very impressive fight followed by a solid net job by Capt. Mikey and she was in the boat. Taped out at a little over 27" before a quick release. Called it around 3, only to run into fellow Redbull-fueled lunatics Getanet and Jigman packing it in as well.
