Took some dead baits over to the ribber late morning today to see if the Pikes were biting. Unfortunately I was greeted by a river full of ice, lol! Found a small open hole to cast my baits into and surprisingly they were there. These fish hold in some strange spots for sure. Threw the dead baits on a 4/0 hook and let the current take em while jigging em once in a while. This worked well! Went 4-6 on little river Pikes losing 1 that snapped me off after trying to get the fish turned and out from under the ice. Interesting morning landing 2 around 24, 1 around 30 and another around 32ish. Fish are feeding pretty good right now! Got outta there once the rain picked up. Heres a pic of the little 32 incher! TIGHT LINEZ NJFers!!!
