Tenacious Canyon Report 10/20-21

[Tenacious Sportfishing]

We hosted Jim Vanrensalier and friends from Maywood NJ for an overnighter in the Hudson. Trolled down the west wall to the southwest corner with no action except skippies and anchored a few miles from the fleet in 600ft. At 7:30 had our first yellowfin on ice and then quiet till around 11:30 when the sword ballon started roaming. It took Jim and Mike to bring a fat 60" sword to gaff. All went quiet again till 4 am when we had multiple fish on landing some and losing some till around 5:30. Due to various circumstances we managed another 5 yellowfins but lost more than were caught including two big allisons estimated to be 100 lb class fish. The charter had loads of action and went home very happy with 6 yellowfins and the sword.
