This year, the only opportunity to win two shark tournaments with one shark and only one set of expenses, is the first weekend of June when the Brett T. Bailey Mako Rodeo and the Warriors for Warriors Charity Shark Tournament are held. Also, we all know that the biggest makos swim in and are caught in the cooler water in the 58-62 degree water. Although the tournaments have a slightly different format, in terms of the window of fishing time, it is possible to comply with both tournament's rules and win both with the same shark.
Remember that even with both tournaments having the exact same format in the previous 2 years, most boats had different amounts of time on the water working to win. Same thing can happen this year. Some boats fished right after the captain's meeting and some decided to leave the dock early the next day. As such, almost nobody fished the exact amount of time. Some teams fished more and some fished less. Also, both tournaments are for great charitable causes, so while it is great to win money, it is also important to realize that your entry is supporting the causes we support. Sometimes its about the money, sometimes about the cause and sometimes both are important.
The point of this thread is to inspire teams to fish both tournaments. Do these to win, support great causes and as a shake down tournament and get ready for rest of the tournaments. Also, check out the Mako Master, multi shark tournament calcutta.
www.makomaster.com This can be huge. Its like lotto power ball, but for shark tournament calcuttas and it will save lives of veterans with PTSD who are considering or have attempted suicide.
Please ask any questions and share your concerns. The goal is to make a great weekend for our local fishermen and support great causes.
