Went out late morning ready to go with all the new gear i purchased this winter.
Put in some leg work and walked up river about a quarter or mile or so from where i get in the water. Fished some bait after placing my bait a bit more down river from where i first had it BOOM huge hit. Had a definite big trout on and ended up pulling the hook 😞. Aftef a bit more bait fihing with no luck and a snag i tied on a spinner. 4th or 5th cast this trout nailed me and put up a great fight! CPR fish with little help swam off looking very healthy. Can't wait to go back out in hopes of hooking into anotther hold over.
