rats on the fly!/ flying fish

So had a couple hrs to kill so took the fly rod out to pratice up for the fall. Warmed the arm up a bit and then waded out to a back bay bar. Threw on a deciver and went right to work with imediate snapper hits. Switched it up to a peanut and dialed in to some bigger cocktails landed 6 for 9 then as i was stripping all of the sudden it slacked stripped hard and came tight right away knew that this was different and to no surprise it was a little football sunday sized schoolie walked him in to beach and shook his fin and sent him on his way! Wanted a pict in the worst way but no phone while walking around on a bar! Got me totaly pumped upThink il be starting to put more time in again as i hear of a few more fish around!!

Ps. Flying fish of some type was around. Really weird they would fin then leap out of the water about 6inches to a ft and glide about 3or 4 ft seen it happen a dz times kinda had a sea robbin look to them body wise any body have any ideas?
