Royal Miss Belmar - weekend wrap up

Saturday morning and afternoon, we had very difficult drifting conditions due to strong winds. We were able to pick some very nice keeper fluke with fish up to 8 lbs and we saw a lot of action on smaller fish.

Sunday morning and afternoon, it started out slow with large swells making fishing a little difficult. As the day went on and the ocean decreased, the fishing increased. We had nice action on short fluke, as well as, keeper fluke along with several sea bass.

This morning, due to difficult drifting conditions, fluking was still slow. We caught several keepers with limited action on shorts.

This afternoon, we had very slow drifting conditions again. We managed to catch decent action on shorts with a few keeper fluke.

Sailing daily for fluke and sea bass from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & again from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
