Raritan bay fluke tournament -Johnny Bucktails

Decided to fish the tournament with the lip and my buddy mario. Left the dock and headed over to where we have been pulling up some nice quality fish. I Bounced around from place to place until i found them. Picked away at nice QUALITY fish. Around noon time the lips rod doubled over and i knew it was on. Hit the deck and put him on the boga. Knew we had a nice fish and one that would be brought to the scales. Pulled into the weigh station and turned out that the fish weighed 9.11 pounds. It was good enough to put us into 3rd place! This is the lips biggest fluke and the best part is that he caught it on the day of a tournament. We ended up with our 3 man limit of quality fluke as well. Great tournament with a great crew. Congratulations to all of the winners.
