Haddock lovers, times, how @ where!

calling all haddock lovers, this great eating fish has become more common the last couple of seasons with restrictions lessened to no bag limit, size 21". haddock like the deep, muddy bottom ranging in depths from 40 fathoms to 55 fathoms. at times they are caught together with cod but the two species usually like different bottoms. best bait would be fresh sea clams and fresh squid. I use a 2 hook high/low rig but put the bottom hook beneath the sinker. middle bank thru tillies excellent bottom. best times, mid may thru October. soft mouths, be carefull lifting and no parasites in the meat. best, capt. jim
