Sea Bass Fishing takes off! Good Ling Fishing

After some decent Ling fishing earlier in the week we had some nasty Northeast wind Wednesday night through Thursday that stirred things up a bit. While we made it out on Thursday (and came in a little early due to conditions) and Friday fishing was just so-so on Friday due to a strong current and leftover swell from the wind the day before. Saturday fishing started to improve with a showing of Sea Bass mixed in with Ling. While not a slaughter fest we saw some good numbers of Sea Bass and some Ling. Ed Brodzinski from Old Bridge had 3 keeper Sea Bass and 10 Ling, Jay Gorzkowski from Avoca, PA had 13 keeper Sea Bass and 11 Ling, T Hoan from Piscataway, NJ had 12 Sea Bass and a Ling and Billy Sims from Pemberton, NJ had 6 Sea Bass and 3 Ling.

Sunday the fishing really took off with awesome conditions and excellent Sea Bass fishing! Most anglers had from 10 to 15 keeper Sea Bass with a number of limits around the boat. There was also a nice showing of keeper Fluke too! Danny Phan from Dumont, NJ had 15 Sea Bass, Joe Scotto from Staten Island had a limit of 20 keeper Sea Bass and 1 keeper Fluke, Stephan Simmonds from Newark, NJ had 15 Sea Bass and 2 Ling, Millie Suarez from Mt. Laurel and Angela Chiarulli from Cape May combined for 16 Sea Bass and 4 Ling, Mario & Brandon Arencibia from Harrison, NJ combined for 18 Sea Bass, Lucas Santino from Freehold, NJ had his limit of Sea Bass as did Larry Jenks from Princeton, NJ and Lafayette McCaskill had 15 Sea Bass and won the pool with a 4lb. Fluke.

We are now sailing 5 days a week for Sea Bass and 2 days a week for Ling and Cod.
