Default When it clears-Game on Raritan Bay

Well do you think we had enough rain?Even with the muddy water and windy weather the bay is giving up bass and fluke. The blues are there to and they are big.Only had one trip this spring with no stripers. The west end of the bay has some good bass fishing, bunker heads or live. The Reach is good for fluke with some nice size flatties up tp 7 lbs.
When the monsoon rains clear and we get good drifting conditions I would expect real good fluking. Some weakfish are also showing up.The grass shrimp are attracting the fluke as usual. For those who want action the birds have working over bluefish. Some guys still trolling stretch plugs and getting bass and blues. This is a good time of the year for variety in the bay.The weather can't stay crappy forever.Couple more tidal changes and some clear water is what we need.Don't forget to take your dad out for Fathers Day.
