![]() Was out on the Big J last night. Little bumpy but not bad at all. Conditions ended up flat as calm on the way in.
There were the usual amount of ppl on board, as stated on the website. Anyone can count the numbers of guys on board at roll call if they really want to.. if you can count that high and stick around long enough ![]() Conditions were tough and the first spot sucked. 2nd and 3rd spots were great. Difficult conditions meaning current. 24 was hard to hold early on but 20's by days end. You had to cast up current and you had no problem getting your limit by days end (others released or given to less fortunate pukers) I also got a first for me on the wreck trips... first a bonito a few wks back and today had a nice weakfish. Lots of space at the rail.. lots of fish in the cooler... great day on the Big J to be repeated again very soon. Anybody who missed out should be regretting their decision ![]() I'm sick of these people that go to the boat at 1130 LATE and expect to claim an area to sleep and be tucked into bed.. Give me a break. I recommend if you don't want to sleep on the floor or bench to book ahead of time and get a bunk. If not get to the boat at a reasonable hour and claim your territory like everyone else. Me, I was lucky and had my buds get their early for me ![]() Thanks Howard for a great day on the water.
