Left work at 330 and headed down to riegelsville to check out the water, river conditions in general. I have not seen the river this low in a while, what a relief! Anyway started chucking my BINSKY collection, slow rollin, jiggin, snap jigging and came up with a 17 inch BROOK TROUT, full of eggs! Took a pic and let her swim away. I kept casting and jiggin and came up with one more fish, a chunky 14 inch smallie. Could not get any love from the walleye today fishing off land, I believe they are in full spawn on the river with these insanely warm temps. All in all a short but good time on the river. I was just thrilled to be near water for a change instead of working. TIGHT LINES FELLAS!!!
