Hit Clark's Pond today as we had plenty of time to fish. FINALLY, we had some lock n load freshwater fishing this year. Unfortunately, it's an 1 1/2 hour drive from the house and it was mostly pickeral. We fished there from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. My old man had 46 fish and I had 38 fish. We had 74 pickeral, 4 bass, 3 sunnies, 2 yellow perch and 1 crappie. So in the end, we combined for 84 fish in 7 hours. We threw small rapalas and white Mr. Twisters the entire day. I had the biggest fish of the day, a 24" 4 lb. pickeral(on 4 lb. test

). A very good day of freshwater fishing for sure, especially considering the pathetic fishing we have been having lately.
