Fished 20 minutes north of my house yesterday tried out a new body of water went well.
Six for eight ,happened to be stocking day, I didn't realize until I started fishing when a couple of other anglers told me. Pennsy you can fish right thru thr stocking so no issues. Water was high,clear, & fast but very fishable. Only a handful of anglers in spite of the stocking. Strange this stream falls into the second season which only opened this past Saturday so why they would stock a few days later is beyond me. Anyhow all decent fish 11" plus to fourteen, caught none smaller. This stream got my attention going back today to learn it better. Nice water,might break out the fly rod, hatch going on in the PM.,with some surface activity.
