Default Steelies,browns,kings weekend

Headed up north this weekend to fish in salmon country again for the second time this season so far. Plan was to fish the SR for steelies and hit some cricks now that they actually have some water for browns. Brought the driftboat also to try our luck at another river. Started our mornings in the lower end of the river and found steel pretty quickly landed a few lost a few on egg patterns and light leaders. Took a ride west for browns and found them loaded up in a few creeks. Managed to stick a bunch of egg patterns and egg sacks. The following day we started our morning in the river again after the steel and switched gears to another creek out west loaded with a mix of trout and salmon. Played with them for awhile then got the driftboat out at another river in hopes to find some steel but had no luck. Snow in the forecast for today up there with their first sight of it for the year. Missed the epic run by a few days but that’s ok we still got a few and had a good trip. Good luck if your heading up!

Beauties, look like all very fresh fish especially the steelhead. Browns in their mating colors. Nice pics. How's the water situation up north, did they benefit from rain we've been getting here of late. Sounded like it was ultra low early on, hopefully it's come up.

Thanks,
Was low for awhile up there and the last week or so they got pounded with rain and there’s plenty of water in the river and creeks now. Salmon river actually is bumping up close to 1,000 I believe I saw today…
They even got their first snow yesterday and we got outta there just in time.
