![]() went out at 5:30am 3/1/25 to hit the big lake only to find the ice was vanishing
quickly.i decided not to go and that was a wise decision as the ice where i get on was gone at 9:30am and the shore was looking bad all around the lake.was a great season compared to the last 4 years and the fishing was good also.just want to say thanks to the ice badger for keeping us up with the ice reports.time to stow the ice fishing gear and get the jigs and bobbers ready. |

![]() yes ed it was a great season. We had some overtime on Sunday for the meet-n-greet at the state park. you could get on over by the trees on the right side and the cold temps Saturday night into Sunday made it safe for us to fish on 7" of re- frozen ice. some nice fish were caught and we had a good time a fitting way to end the 2024-25 season. god willing we will be back at it next year but now it's "HERE CRAPPO WE GOT SOMETHING FOR YA. "
