PROWLER5 - APRIL 23rd, STRIPED BASS REPORT

[Prowler 5]

Hey gang! We set sail this morning with a decent crowd of anglers despite the rainy morning. We started in the same area as yesterday and caught a nice keeper right away, but lost another on top. I thought we were going to catch a few more, but unfortunately, it never materialized. We steamed a little further and settled in on some good action with an abundance of short fish and some keepers in the mix too. The action was good until we were mugged with all the boats and it slowed down. Derrick Dearnley from Vernon took the pool with a 20lb bass and was high hook with 11 ORL. We will be back at it again tomorrow, departing 7:30 a.m. sharp. See y'all in the morning! Thanks, Capt. Jack
