Default Barnegat bay Fluke report

Got an early start this morning and got into some short action right away. Picked through alot of shorts and got 2 at 18. 1 at 19. and one at 21 plus a Kingfish on ice the bite faded away as the tide bottomed out. Got alot of shorts on the jig and Gulp but all keepers came on the deadstick jig and killie. Got my PB record smallest Fluke at 5 inches today.

Congrats on that 5 incher, had one the size of a quarter in a killie trap once as my PB🤣, are you fishing northern section of the bay or south? Tried fishing the Mantoloking/Bay Head area last week and had no luck.

Much welcome. I think that area you fished should produce, if you time it right.
