Golden Eagle - BIG STRIPED BASS TODAY!

We caught some BIG STRIPED BASS today with the largest one about 44”. We saw lots of fish with the birds flying around and the fish would come up to the top and we would see a lot of splashing. The ones that we caught were all decent size fish. We were in close to the inlet so there was plenty of fishing time and we even went into overtime trying to catch a few extra fish.

Everything was on diamond jigs with the most popular today being the AVA 47 with the green tail and if you want to fish lighter, you can go with the AVA 27 with the green tail. We have everything you need on the boat.

It was a beautiful day on the ocean today. It was flat calm and just the right temperature and tomorrow looks just as nice.

STRIPER season is here and there are lots of fish out there so now is the time to come on down.
