Default Vented my first sea bass!

I got to field test the venting device I obtained last week at Dr. Zemeckis Sea Bass mortality reduction seminar last week at the Rutgers Extension in Toms River .
I was out fishing for sea bass on the Capt. Cal for " opening day" on Monday. We were in 80+ feet of water in pretty angry seas somewhere NE of Belmar,
Most of the sea bass coming up did not show signs of distress but one had its stomach coming out of the mouth and her eyes were bulging. Only about 10" long so way short. I had my venting tool handy, vented her swim bladder and sent her back down.

Pretty cool to actually get to field test it and hopefully give a sea bass a fighting chance to survive.
