Default Ocean Explorer Blackfish

11-21-17 That was a nice day,,,winds stayed southwest most of the day and the ocean was nice...At the end it turned more south than west and it got a little lumpy but man did it turn the fish on at the end....The stern especially had a killer chew going on late in the day..Guys and girls with jigs were casting out and the baits were not even hitting bottom and the fish were attacking the crab...Really great bite,,,,But also throughout the day guys picked away at fish..Up front guys had fish and it seemed the starboard side did good to..Guys had limits, some had 3,4or 5..and of course some only had shorts but overall we had quite a nice catch of fish onboard...have some killer video on our facebook page...1 ounce,,and 1.5 ounce jigs today did good but we also caught on conventional rigs as well..Bob the butcher won the pool with a beast of a blackfish that was up around 14 to 15lbs....yes on a small jig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are fishing tomorrow..rain or shine..see ya for coffee...few pics

I was out today and it was a day of blackfishing for sure. Stuck up in the bow and was able to work a bite all day and managed my limit +, ORL. Fished rigs all day as the wind in the bow was very tough for a jig. Was in the running til that pig came up. That was an enormous Tog!!!!! Congrats!!
