good crappie bite on the north end of the cong

i had a chance to get the old town out for the first time in 2017 on the north end of the big pond for some crappie.. the rufus jr and the fin-s jig did well for me . i got 16 crappies ranging from 8 to 14" and 1 friggin 22" slime dart. all but three crappies were put back to fight another day. it turned out to be a nice day once the rain cleared out. once we get a few more warmer days the bite should pick up. not too much ice left on the lake.
