![]() I purchased the canoe from dicks a year ago and went to DMV to register it because I was putting motor on it now I wanna sell it but I can't remember or find a title but I have the receipt from DMV. Does anyone know how to sell a registered canoe or if they give titles for them?

![]() You can get a duplicate title from DMV and sign that over. That will preserve the can motor status but also result in yearly registration fees.
If the new buyer is forever going motor-less don't need it. I would get replacement title and sell that way. The new owner can decide if he will register it or not.
