![]() So after no days off since mid- May, decided to take one off and hit a few lakes. Buzzbait didn't do much this day as it was largely ignored. Only consistent producer was my Teenie 2" grubs. Color didn't seem to matter but white did the best. Its not exciting fishing but damn they work well. Final tally below:
31 Yellow Perch 4 - 11" 21 Chain Pickerel 12 - 17" 13 Pumpkinseed 5-7" 11 Largemouth Bass 5 - 16" 6 Black Crappie: 8 - 12" 4 Golden Shiners 3 Bluegiil 3-6" Pickerel cut my line 4 times so that's a bummer but grubs don't work well with steel leaders so losing grubs is going to happen. https://goo.gl/photos/pyqGnnQGDr24ewZt5

![]() all work and no play makes buzzbaiter a dull person,glad to hear you played hooky from work and got out there.throwing small 2" or 3" grubs has saved me from skunkins many times.white or pearl are good colors for me as well. brown , lime/pearl ,and yellow are good also.1/8 and 1/64oz heads,sometimes you get a good one on grubs lots of fun.nice report.impressive slime dart count so far
