We went blue fishing today, It was just short of fantastic. We are now on our way back to shark River, the Sea Bass season opens tomorrow and we will be there. It is with some sadness though that I leave Raritan Bay, I have been coming up here in the spring for many years , to fish for the striped bass and bluefish. This bay, Has never let me down yet, as I leave it every year I realize more and more just how valuable a body all water it really is. We have caught , Tons of bass, and blue fish , In weather that we would not have normally been able to fish , in the ocean .we have had the privilege, of fishing next to some of the best charter and party boat captains in business. All in all it was a good spring in Raritan Bay. Now we are making our way back to shark River , and we will be sea bass fishing tomorrow , which is one of our favorite things to do . We have an open boat tomorrow , and much of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. We have a number of afternoon open trips as well.
