Default Straightening out recent confusion

The NJ F&G are enforcing a Jonah Crab regulation starting today. Where the confusion comes in is dome think this applies to the White Leggers we tog fish with. But it does not. They are 2 different species do please rest comfortably. In addition it my be in your own best interest to learn how to tell the difference and makes sure you know. You my find a game warden or two that do not.

Considering that I have had a game warden mistake white perch for striped bass before, I think it is safe to say that a few don't know the difference between relatively similar looking crabs.

I would love to see how many of them know the difference between a Blackback Flounder & Yellowtail Flounder my bet is none & this is not a joke.

I am curious, have any of us who Blackfish have actually used Jonah crabs for bait or we have been using the common rock crab this whole time as the name for "whitelegger"?

Considering that the claws go for $28 a pound, that would be expensive bait. The claws are phenomenal to eat!!!
