Default Trout Help

Saltwater guy taking my grandson to a stock pond in town, town is having a fishing contest. Have a light spin outfit need to know what size hook? and best bait? Pond is about 3ft deep well be fishing with a bobber. Thanks for any advise!!!!

Power bait, meal worms or garden worms will do the trick. I like #8 bait holder hooks.

Power bait floats so I'd fish it with a 1/8 or 1/16 egg sinker with a 2 foot leader under a small swivel.

Go with a bobber for the worms unless it's real windy then use split shot or the rig mentioned above.
