Hello everyone, my name is Paul Sperco and I am a transplanted NJ fisherman that relocated to Port St Lucie, Florida, four years ago. I am employed by Bass Pro here in Port St Lucie in the fishing department and also do numerous seminars here in the store. I post all of my surf fishing reports on the website and the local newspaper group TC Palm, from Jupiter to Vero Beach. I am sponsored and on the Penn Pro staff . The reason I am boring you with all of this information is because I don't want anyone to think that the information I will be posting is from someone who just decided to do this on a whim. I know this site is the best one in the NJ and Ny area and would like to contribute to it . I fish four to five days a week in the surf on South Hutchinson Island and thought there might be some interest from board members to find out what's going on down here as I am sure some of you travel to our area in the winter . I will be happy to answer any and all questions that you might have as on tackle, specific beaches to fish, techniques, and species . If everyone thinks this is something that would work please let me know . On a credibility factor , I fished with Bunker Dunker, Eddie Mackin, for years and with all of his sons . The entire Mackin family are close personal friends of mine besides being some of the best fishermen I have ever run across . Looking forward to getting some feedback from all of you members .

Great news! Every winter I visit my elderly parents who own a place in Stuart. The last couple of years I have been surf fishing for pompano with limited success. Figured out how to catch plenty of sand fleas but finding the right beachs, tides and times of day to catch pompano is the hard part. Would love to hear up to the minute advice when I am down there in March

I'll be happy to give you all of that information . When I post I provide beaches and high tide times for that week. Last March we had a great Pompano run that lasted into April. I'm doing a seminar on December 5 that will be targeting pompano . If you send me your email address I'll shoot you the handout that I give at the seminar with rigs, baits, and beaches, to fish .have a great fall season up there . Paul
