Default Skull ID?

My gf found this on the shoreline of Jamaica Bay this morning while at work. I've got a guess as to what it is, but curious to see what you guys think .

id have to say its a shark just by the teeth, altho there is no reference to the size in the pic, so could be a toothy gamefish also
