Quick Report From the Edge - 2 Big-Eyes and 27 Yellowfin - Not a bad Day
Capt. Deane Lambros got right back on the fish today where he left off before the blow - only better.
Trolling for 6 hours he caught 27 yellowfin with half decent and in the boat and half released. With enough yellowfin they went big-eye hunting and prevailed. Hooked one at 730pm and hooked another at 830pm. Boat saw the dart and are in the boat. Both around 150 pounds. They are sharking tonight and back at the dock in the morning - pictures to fully - then right back out again tomorrow. I'll get more details from Deane when he's back on land.
