![]() Original plans were to float/fish/clean but when one of my cleaning crew said he wanted to join me on the North Branch I put away the rods. Floated and cleaned all the way from Far Hills to confluence. Have gone over this stretch many times over the last few years and I think I can finally say it looks very good.
Came all the way down through the AT&T stretch and saw lots of trout at the very, very top. Came down where the Lamington meets the North Branch and the Lamington felt a good 10 degrees colder than the North Branch. All the way down, loads of people at Rt 22 and 202 fishing. Best part is if you float this river you will find tons of deep holes where trout and smallmouth are hiding. Big ticket items are down to just a few things The last section below Rt. 202 I should be able to take care of this summer hopefully. Nice not sinking my canoe with so many damn tires. (Truck tire I pulled and have at the confluence not pictured) Last edited by AndyS; 05-23-2015 at 09:34 PM.. |
