![]() Nothing better than to spend your Valentine with your first love. Some freshwater or hard fresh water in this case.
Area fished: Lake H at Lake Forrest Yacht Club. Time: 7am till 3 pm Bait: shiners on tip ups and wax worms on jig rod. Ahhh what a beautiful day to spend on the lake. Tip ups action was slow through out the day and while jig was on fire toward the shore line. Tons of sunnies and perch on jig rod but nothing in the monsta sizes that you kinda hope for. Tip ups brought your usual pickerel and surprisingly some cats as well. Finally landed my first pickerel on the Hopatcong this year. Solid 20 inches and fat just the way I like them. HIghlights of the day were watching a lonely fox cris cros the lake on multiple occasions and cranes trying to still my fish. Perfect perfect day to spend on the ice. Andre |

![]() Sounds like a real nice day on the lake. Nice pickerel, too. Keep at it, 23, 24 inches is common, but it's hard to get them above the 4 pound range for sure. Saw a mink the other day at Round Valley.
