Default Big D Eyes 11/24

Went on a walleye fishing trip with my ace Delaware River guide Mike today. Trip was planned weeks in advance, and we couldn't have planned a nicer late November day! Put the boat in at Pond Eddy and stayed there the whole time. Started out a bit rainy, but it moved out by late morning. Once the wind started blowing, the bite turned on. Between the two of us, Mike and I landed eight walleye, three jumbo fallfish, and a slammer yellow perch. Biggest walleye was about 20". One of Mike's buddies showed up and landed a 10+ pound channel cat on a binsky!

Nothing really picture-worthy today, so no fish-porn yet. Good thing, too; my fish would have looked like dinks compared to some of the giant eyes the rest of you maniacs seemed to be pulling out all day!

Look forward to the video when it's ready!

Only had the chance to fish Pond Eddy once and it was at borderline flood stage, need to get back there. What kind of depths were you guys finding them in?

Most fish were in about 10-15 feet. River is super low and crystal clear right now.

I remember seeing depths of 60ft+ there and wondering if the fish would hang that deep.

Thumbs up Re: Big D Eyes 11/24

Always the potential for getting a double digit walleye fishing those spots ! Looks like you got in just in time, they will be quite a bit of snow now. LOVE the videos !!!
