Dorothy B Thu 7-3 report
The AM trip was terrible but we had some fish in the PM. Frank got some redemption after a heartbreaker last week and limited out up to 5lbs.
We also lost a big fish boat side, around 7-8 lbs, due to lack of...something...not sure how to say this politely but if the mate tells you to do something to help you get a giant fish in the boat, you should do it. If the mate begins to shout those same instructions in an increasingly intense manner and the Captain chimes in as well giving those same instructions than, well, do what they say for Pete's sake! We will see what tomorrow brings... |

Re: Dorothy B Thu 7-3 report
Good guess, guys but crazy as it seems it was the exact opposite. The guy needed to lift his rod up so I could reach the fish!

Re: Dorothy B Thu 7-3 report
No matter how hard you try, the fish will never fit through the rod tip!

Re: Dorothy B Thu 7-3 report
You know, in the past few seasons I've seen more big fluke lost this way than the other way...and all by the non-rental rod set. Esp in current!
