Default Last Fishing Trip of the Year!!

Went fishing to round valley since last week stomach flu kept me home during a great warm winter. Got there around 7:30 and headed towards the north tower using the binsky! A couple guys were also using the binsky and having better luck then me and my cousin. Wind was the killer for my boat and thought we were going to have a horrible trip! So headed by the south tower, fished rangers cove and there were also a couple hunters around there so didn't want to get to close to them. I was so happy the wind stopped for 1 hr or 2 and I caught one 13 in rainbow in that cove took the binsky out while in the water took a pic and released it. Then drifted into 70 ft of water and caught a 15 in. laker no pic just let it go. Then after about 20 min missed about 2 and caught my biggest trout ever a 22 in lake trout biggest freshwater fish this yr. My cousin didn't catch nor have a hit till about 12 he caught 4 in a row and I missed what had to be a beast line was peeling out and was gonna tell my cousin to follow it with the boat but it popped off. Damn another one for a fishing story!! Cant wait to go back. All fish were released to get bigger! But I have a question are there wild lake trout in there? Out of all the lakers I've seen they were light colored this one had such amazing colors on him. Didn't take a pic though.

I used gold and silver but I'm pretty sure I seen a guy use green and catch them also. Maybe friday morning was the day they weren't hungry, its weird.

That is true. If I never would have bought a boat nor would I have fished any new places if I didn't find this website. Met great people and can't wait to learn new things and catch more new fish. So thank you all and can't wait to fish with a bunch of you guys again!!
