Miss Belmar - weekend wrap up
Friday night, we headed out East with a nice crowd and anchored up on a reading. It took only 15 minutes to get the first fish in the boat and we started picking all around the boat until we were holding 4-8 fish on a time with shots of 10-12 at once. At the end of the night everyone had plenty of fish, averaging around 8 fish a man, with others having as many as 20 keeping only their legal limit. They were all jumbo blues in the 8-15 lb range.
Saturday morning, we headed out East along the edge of the mud hole and picked with shots on both jigs and bait. The blues ranged from 8-14 lbs. Sunday morning, we started off North of our inlet catching big blues up to 18.5 lbs until it slowed down the last half of the day. Due to bad weather, we did not sail yesterday or today. Below are pictures from over the weekend. Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every Friday & Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why. Ethan with his jumbo blue!
